Sun Moon Lake is the biggest lake in Taiwan. It consists of the irregular rhombus-shaped Sun Lake, and the crescent-shaped Moon Lake to the west. Yangmingshan National Park : http://www.ymsnp.gov.tw/html/eng/index.asp

The Yangmingshan National Park is delicate and comprehensive national park. It is delicate because it is spatially small, its landscapes are fine, and it is crafty handiwork of God. It is comprehensive because it encompasses conservation, environmental education and information, recreation and other functions. A national park of such kind is not only unique in Taiwan but also rare in the world.

Yangmingshan's popular hot springs can be divided into three types according to their chemical composition. First are the acid sulfate (white sulfur) hot springs, such as those at Tahuangtsui, Jhuzihhu, Ssuhuangtzuping and Kengtzuping. Next are acid sulfate chloride (green sulfur) hot springs, such as the ones at Xin Beitou. Last are neutral iron-bearing hot springs, such as those at Tingpichiao and Lengshuikeng; these are cooler and mostly consist of indirectly heated groundwater.
