Workshop on Mathematical Modeling

of Infectious Disease Epidemiology

May 31-June 2, 2006

National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS), Taiwan

Since the outbreak of SARS, the mathematical modeling of Epidemics receives much attention from the governments of many countries. Especially now the Bird Flu has potential to outbreak in Asia. The purpose of the workshop is to promote the application of Mathematical Modeling in Epidemics to the real world.

A one-day Conference on Mathematical Modeling of Infectious Disease, co-organized with CDC of Taiwan, will be held on June 2 in Taipei.
