  Topic      :       On Algebraic Multigrid Method         

　

  Abstract    :

  Basic ideas of the Algebraic Multigrid Method (AMG) and procedure will
  be introduced. Relationship between the AMG method and matrix

  decomposition  is presented.
 
  Algorithm of choosing the coarser grids and the interpolation operators
  and discussed in detail. Convergence of the AMG will be given. Various
  numerical results are presented and the results demonstrate the efficiency
  and robust of the AMG method.
