Wustholz教授是瑞士ETH的講座教授以及Zurich數學研究所的Director，他在算術幾何以及超越數論方面有極精深的研究，並且在過去二十多年作出了許多突破性的成果。此次演講將介紹目前Diophantine幾何方面最重要的abc猜想，與logarithmic forms理論的關聯。
