演講者:        Professor Joseph Silverman

Silverman 教授將於十月14-28日到理論中心訪問，這期間將給一系列的演講，我們將於近日公布確切的演講日期以及題目。歡迎參加。

Silverman 教授是國際知名的數論學家，他在橢圓曲線理論及數論中的 height 函數有精深的研究。
Silverman 教授的著作甚豐，包括數本關於橢圓曲線相當受歡迎的書籍，其中在Springer-Vrerlag出版的”The Arithmetic of Elliptic Curves”以及”Rational Points on Elliptic Curves” (與John Tate 合寫)
長期以來是學習橢圓曲線的兩本主要參考書籍。
