In celebrating
the ICM2002 to be held in Beijing in August, 2002, the National
Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS) at the National Tsinghua University of Taiwan
would like to host a workshop on ``Multiscale Analysis and
Computation'' from June 24-28, 2002. The workshop will be informal and
educational, and is aimed at stimulating scientific exchanges and possible
collaboration among the participants of the workshop. Some of the focused
topics include multiscale modeling and computation, stochastic analysis and
random systems, multiresolution analysis, adaptive moving meshes, multigrid methods and
fast algorithms.
