We regret to inform you that the workshop "Mathematical Models from Field Theory" from July 14 to July 26 in NCTS, Taiwan has to be postponed due to the recent serious attack by SARS. The impact of SARS has gone beyond the previous control and showed a tendency of further spread after a chain transmission in a local hospital was identified. Therefore, we all agree it is time to announce a temporary cancellation of this workshop to you all. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. However, your health security is all we are concerned about and our visitors should not take any risk traveling at this time.

This workshop will be re-scheduled when infection is no more a concern. Please re-arrange your travel plan accordingly. Again, please accept our apology and thank you for your patience and support over the time.

　

　

Second Announcement of Mathematical Models from Field Theory

Dear Professors:

      On behalf of Professor Chang-Shou Lin, Director of NCTS, we cordially welcome you to visit NCTS of Taiwan and participate the workshop “Mathematical Models from Field Theory” in NCTS of Taiwan from July 14 to July 26. Due to your attendance, we believe that the workshop will be very wonderful. For the lecture schedule of the workshop, we propose to arrange about two lectures for each day from Monday to Thursday. In the first weekend, we will provide a fascinating tour for your sightseeing.

      For the preparation of some paper works for the workshop, we sincerely need your cooperation with us.
