The Congress solicits contributions in all aspects of mathematics. There
will be plenary lectures as well as 45-minute lectures by distinguished mathematicians. These lectures are by invitation only. There will also be special 20 minute sessions held in parallel, spanning a broad range of mathematics. The official language for the Congress is English.

To contribute and participate in these activities, you must submit an English abstract electronically by July 15, 2001. The Congress will notify you by August 15, 2001 if it accepts your lecture and paper.

These lectures will be published in the Congress Proceeding and papers in their final publishing form must be received by May 31, 2002. We will notify the authors by email when the deadline approaches. There will be a limit of 6 pages for the papers from the special sessions.
